May 26, 2018 – SSRG supports Family House as the charity for May Bout

Family House LogoA portion of the proceeds from our next bout will go to Family House. Family House is part of a multi-national non-profit membership organization creating a network of agencies and individuals who are interested in assuring that children can have safe, conflict-free access to parents with whom they do not reside. Their vision is to create a child-centered, family-focused community. Family House staff members provide safety and supervision, in-the-moment parenting skills training, family support, and workshops designed to build skills that stop the generational cycles of family violence and repair parent-child relationships.
SSRG will be accepting donations for this charity at our bout on May 26 at The Diggz of NWI located at 4590 W 61st Ave, Hobart, IN 46342.

April 28, 2018 –  The Dunes Learning Center Donation Drive

On 4/28, we collected gently used backpacks and rain ponchos to be donated to the Dunes Learning Center, our charity of the night.

A portion of the proceeds from our bout also went to the Dunes Learning Center.  Dunes Learning Center provides a classroom without walls in which students interact directly with the natural environment. The setting provides a unique exposure to a globally significant natural environment and one of the world’s great urban/industrial regions. Students gain new knowledge and understanding about how improving the quality of life is dependent upon our success in sustaining and integrating these two environments.

CM Punch gives a $500 check to the Dunes Learning Center, SSRG's charity on 4/28.

March 17, 2018 –  SSRG Supporting Humane Indiana

Humane Indiana Donations Needed

A portion of the proceeds from our season opener “Shamrock Shakedown” went to Humane Indiana. Humane Indiana is a nonprofit organization that provides animal shelters and works within Northwest Indiana to help animals. They focus on finding homes for animals and empowering the people who care for them. By offering resources and information with respect and understanding to populations untouched by animal service providers, the human-animal bond is elevated, quality of life is improved and overpopulation is reduced.

SSRG asked for donations at the door; through the generosity of our fans, we were able to donate an entire car-load of items!

March 10, 2018 – Campagna Academy “Getting Strong & Giving Back” Event

campagna 1SSRG members donated baked goods for Campagna Academy‘s Getting Strong & Giving Back event in order to help youth raise funds for Compassionate Canines’ Pet Therapy Program and raise awareness about pet adoption.

Campagna Academy’s goal is for these boys and girls to return home with increased self-esteem and the lasting sense that they can continue to contribute to their community.
